💮💮 Georgia O'Keeffefe Flowers 💮💮
I love teaching lessons inspired by O'Keeffe. Her work is beautiful and inspiring, and it challenges students to look at the world a little differently when they have to draw "close-up"
Students traced their flower drawings with black glue (India Ink and Elmer's shaken together).
The next week, students used liquid watercolors for the first time. These students are in 4th grade and they were so excited to see the vibrant colors and experience the difference between using these and the traditional trays.
I can't wait to share their final pieces on Artsonia!
